Hilo Jr. Tennis Club Board of Directors
If you still have one more point to play, no matter what the score is, you still got a chance to make a difference in your favor."
―Victoria Azarenka
The Hilo Junior Tennis Club teaches juniors how to play the game of tennis. We'll work with juniors from the beginner stage to advanced players. We'll teach them the basics of forehand and backhand shots, how to serve, volleying at the net, and game strategy.
And best of all, they get to play!
But, there is more to it than just getting good at hitting a tennis ball with a racket and scoring points. Tennis is a sport that promotes sportsmanship, etiquette, and conduct. So, our juniors learn the Rules of Tennis which, provide life lessons as well.
The Hilo Junior Tennis Club is a non-profit, volunteer driven organization. We have no paid employees. We depend on parents to provide the club with leadership and manpower.
If you're interested in signing up your child, please check out the other links on the site.

The format for weekday activities is Match Play. Match Play includes participants playing match-type games.
Players need to be able to serve, maintain a baseline to baseline rally, and keep score. If your child is able to do ALL three things, encourage them to participate in Match Play.
